What is Fucas
Vesiculosus?
Fucas Vesiculosus is also known as bladderwrack. It is a perrenial
seaweed and a form of kelp, used medicinally for centuries. It is commonly found on the shores of both Europe
and America. It was the original source of iodine.
Its main use has been for the stimulation of the thyroid gland as a treatment
for obeisty and cellulite. Fucas Vesiculosus has a high iodine content which helps boost metabolism.
Bladderwrack also contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulfur, silicon, iron and some B-Complex
vitamins as well as selenium, manganese, phosphorus, zinc, Vitamins A, C, E, G, K and S, bromine, mannitol,
carotene and zeaxantin.
